Big step for him. Seems like he has done well everywhere he's been except for the one year here. Hope he does well there.

Good for him.

I think he would have done well here if CPF would have left him alone and backed him.

Could get a big time job if he does well there. Good for him.

That SOB got Fulmer fired i hope he fails GBO VFL

I'm a Fulmer guy but nobody got Fulmer fired other than Fulmer.

I never blamed Clawson for 08. I think his system just needs more time to develop and Crompton wasn't the QB for it.

What's done is done. Hope he does well at Wake and continues to move up the coaching latter.

Edit: I was informed by the spelling police I misspelled 'ladder'.

Every coordinator Fulmer had on both sides of the ball from '95 until he was fired seems to be doing well for themselves in other places at the moment while Phil never got that shot at redemption that he expected (I will be interviewing them)...Very telling.

WF is not a place I would like to go as a coach. CDC has done well at institutions that prefer academics over athletics.

I think it's a good move for Wake. He's done a good job everywhere he's been, other than his one year at UT, but I think that was due to not having the right personnel in place for his system...

If Wake is patient, he'll do fine there. Most of the rest of the conference is clueless in terms of football and Beamer and Cut probably retire soon.

Agreed. Good for him. He got caught in a bad situation here.

He WAS the bad situation here. There's something wrong when Chavis' top ten overall defense was going out and making stops everytime and Clawson's offense couldn't make a first down. I"m glad he's doing well now, but he was in over his head when he was here.

You are so wrong.

CPF didn't interfere with the Chief and supported him. CPF constantly overruled Clawson on play calling and offensive game planning, he also wasn't allowed to bring in any of his offensive assistants. He was severely hamstrung by CPF.

Have you ever asked yourself why CPF's offenses had sever drop offs when Cutt left?
