Clemson QB Chase Brice May Transfer To Vanderbilt

Transferring is a smart move for him If he wants to be a starter. A good probability that he would always be the number 2 or 3 quarterback at Clemson.

Hope he speaks to UT. Surely, he's aware of JG and his limitations and isn't scared to come here and try to take the job from him? Or maybe there's a perception that UT is going with JG come hell, high water, 5 stars or transfers?
I wouldn't mind that at all:)

Would we want Clemson’s third-string QB? (I have no idea if he’s the second coming of Peyton and cruelly overlooked.)

Seems like we should be setting our sights higher.

I’m fine with him going to Vandi. Good luck to him, wherever he goes.

I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about him. I almost started a thread because I was surprised nobody was talking about him. We do have 5 QB’s though.

Will not happen. Our QB room is full now.

He is their 2nd string QB not 3rd. He went in when Clemson played Syracuse and Trevor Lawrence went down with a concussion and brought them back from being behind and won the game. Guy can sling the ball and has a no fear attitude. Would be a great pick up for Vandy but if he is looking for a shot at the NFL why there? Seems like about odd paring.

I can't figure why he would go there even if Vanderbilt is out of quarterbacks going into 2020

That education, this city, and start for two yrs. Win/Win/Win (for him)

Crappy team and program, but positives outweigh the negatives.
He has stated he wants a shot at the NFL. Not saying furthering his education isn't important to him as well just seems if he is wanting to go pro he could look at multiple other schools to get a good degree plus start for 2 years at a possible contender. I believe his best fits would be Oregon or UNC just based off what I've seen of him and their style of play.

Doesn’t start at either venue...why leave Clemson’s bench to warm another’s?
