Clemson QB Chase Brice May Transfer To Vanderbilt

He has stated he wants a shot at the NFL. Not saying furthering his education isn't important to him as well just seems if he is wanting to go pro he could look at multiple other schools to get a good degree plus start for 2 years at a possible contender. I believe his best fits would be Oregon or UNC just based off what I've seen of him and their style of play.
Long from Utah St is going to the NFL, so. UNC has a QB. Brice can't beat him out.

Doesn’t start at either venue...why leave Clemson’s bench to warm another’s?
I think he would have a great shot to go into either one of those programs and start. Yes the guy is so far a career back up but look at who he has backed up and tell me how many qbs in the nation would start over them.

If those two quarterbacks leave it will put Harrison Bailey on the fast track to the starting quarterback position

I don't have lofty expectations when it comes to true freshmen in the SEC...especially at the QB position. I'd take things slow with Bailey. No reason to rush him and set him back in development and confidence.

Sam Howell wouldn’t start over Trevor Lawrence...but he ain’t sitting for Chase Brice. Better chance at Oregon, but Tyler Brough has been backing up a first rounder himself in Justin Herbert and Cristobal hasn’t been shopping for a grad transfer for some reason.

Maybe he goes down to msst and plays for ole Leach in the air raid. Might be an interesting opportunity for him
KJ Costello, dude? Could you pick a team other than Vandy that he can net playing time?

Seems like the kind of QB that OU would pick up and enter into the "Lincoln Riley Backup QB Rehab into a Superstar" Camp. However, we have two potential starters that have been there already and a third good recruit at the moment.

I'm curious as to the other schools pursuing him. I mean, LSU, Washington, Alabama and Oregon will have a QB need this coming year with graduations. I figure they have people in the pipeline already, but this guy seems like he'd fit into one of those schools better.

Why go to Vanderbilt (pretty much the SEC's version of Kansas in football) where you barely make bowl eligibility in good years with zero national exposure? Yeah, you're probably a year 1 starter, but it doesn't help when you aren't putting your name out there for draft purposes.

NFL Scouts will always find a great player no matter where they go;)

Just sayin...they don’t NOTICE you on the bench.
If he's that good, I think he should transfer, no problems there. I'm just thinking I'd probably go play at USF for a coach I knew and learned under before I'd go to a 4-8 Vanderbilt.

Not disagreeing with that part...just with the idea that NFL scouts avoid Nashville.
