Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei entering the transfer portal

No he isn’t
. And how do you know that exactly? There isn’t enough tape on Milton to suggest he’s any better than DJ. DJ stats weren’t horrible by any means this season 22 touchdowns to 7 ints. Milton will be pulled after the fourth game next season or sooner.

Just for the record if anybody on here has a different opinion than me or viewpoint I won’t cry like a toddler and savagely attack you. I will respect your opinion even if i disagree. But no I don’t think Joe Milton is the long term answer at QB for us going forward.

Dude leave the hate in the past. JG was awful because of coaching. That cat in this O would be a top QB.
No hate. I always wished the light would come on for him. He just didn't have the ability to process. The game never slowed down for him. He's not a bad guy. He had physical talent. Much like DJ... it just never came together for him mentally.

He got coaching. He got help from camps and QB specialists. It wasn't just coaching.

😂 oh wait you’re serious. Dude had two coaches and like four different OCs. There isn’t a system for him to be successful.

Yes, the freshman is FAR better.
Probably. All we know right now is that he performed well against the 121st pass D in all of football.

DJ's biggest problem was inconsistency. I think several teams will be looking to roll the dice on him, he had 29 combined TDs this year.

Does anyone else notice when we put a Fr QB in the game and they look like they've never held a football before.
Other teams put in a Fr QB and he looks like John Elway.
To be fair, before the UNC game this kid was 11-22 100 yards 1TD 1INT.

He may end up being great, but UNC's pass D looks a lot like ours does.

App St's QB hung 6 TD passes on them.

Well, football is a divisive sport, and we do refer to players by height, weight, as well as their position. Plus they have numbers on their jerseys. So I suppose, it really is a case of weighed, numbered and divided. ;)

I'm looking at the QBs, not the team. I've seen Milton miss simple reads, overthrow wide open WRs, and make bad decisions in big games. Not saying DJ doesn't but it's also not apples to apples because our offense is more QB friendly than Clemson's so maybe he would do better in ours. If he can be somewhat decent at completing the deep ball and not terrible at short/intermediate, he would have a good shot at being better than Milton, he's also more of a threat with his legs.
Idk that anyone is saying Milton is phenomenal but he’s here. If we’re bringing someone in they should be better by a good margin. I don’t think DJU is that guy.

I understand the thought process. Milton when he is missing deep throws is still effective enough to win 6-8 games. Maybe 9/10 including a bowl depending on how the rest of the team plays.
If he can’t hit the deep throws solid teams can defend this offense enough to slow us down and great teams will smash us. DJ May be just a Milton clone as far as effectiveness or maybe Huepel could change hos trajectory similar to hooker ( not saying he would be that good). If Nico needs time, and Milton for whatever reason continues to not put it together when the lights come on I think having a qb transfer could be wise

🚨🚨🚨breaking news🚨🚨🚨🚨

If you haven’t picked up on the 14 posts he has made in this one thread alone, Vol865 is not a fan a fan of Joe Milton. I repeat, Vol865 is NOT A FAN of Joe Milton.

The problem is that your opinion is always negative or talking down about our team. It's obvious trolling.

Yeah let's get him to replace Milton. If you can't score more than 60 points against Vandy you need go. Vandy that beat FL and KY. Florida did beat SC.

I figure we may see Jackson some in the OB to get a look if the game is lop sided one way or the other.

We still have Navy. In between him and Milton is a pretty solid QB room, with no announced transfers at this point. And nico coming in, plus if they sign anyone further. With golesh heading south, we may lose one or two. But, we will be fine. I'm much more confident about our QB room than what I saw of Bama's #2 in his limited play this year.
