I'm fine with staying on climate change but most minds seem made up no matter what is presented. My original point still stands since much of the denial is built on "facts" like were posted above. Curious how no one seems to want to call out those

I don't see why it matters that they bought beachfront property. People buy beachfront property all the time knowing full well that a hurricane may come along and destroy their property in any given year. Thankfully, the taxpayers are more than happy to bail them out if it is destroyed.

If you really believed oceans were rising you wouldnt do it. But they know it is BS. That house will double in value in 10-15 years and be just as safe as it was the day it was built.

Again, people make risky decisions all the time. It could also be that they determined the property was high enough above sea level to not be affected given the expected rise in level over the next 50-100 yrs.

How is giving money to rich people going to help keep the temp from rising .5 degrees the next 10 years during this automatic earth cycle?

I believe the people with PhDs in relevant fields whose job it is to research these matters are more qualified than Fox News talk show hosts, Rush Limbaugh, Anthony Watts, etc. to speak on these issues. If that's nonsense to you then I'm comfortable disagreeing.

If you take the Obamas' decision to purchase land by the sea as confirmation that this is all a conspiracy then I'd say your case is pretty weak.

I believe many people with PhDs dont all agree. Which is quite healthy in science. I also believe many PhDs need government funding and alarm bells get more money.

I say there are alot of dishonest scientists, no different than any other profession. Also, it's modeling. Complex situations laced with vast assumptions.

You know, it was global cooling. That didnt work. Then it was global warming. That didnt work. Finally, climate change. Looks like the finally got a marketing PhD in the mix.

If a hundred engineers that actually worked for a living instead of teaching told me that humans were causing climate change and told me how and why, I'd believe them. If a hundred Phd's that worked for universities told me the same thing I wouldn't believe a damn one of them.

OK it's different, and I'm not claiming it's comparing cars to volcanoes, but have you heard of a little thing called Krakatoa. Man has not come close to competing with that; although the Chinese are trying very hard - with or without their free pass to do so.
