My problem with the whole thing is the proposed solutions. There aren’t any.
And there seems to be a serious lack of study, planning, and spending on surviving the coming disasters.
There are plenty of tax plans that won’t change anything but will redistribute wealth.

Since the scientific community has settled the “science” of climate change, there’s no need to continue funding it, correct?

Democrats are so easily duped.

There can only be one sure answer because more people equals more man-made damage. Nobody is gonna go there. Corner the climate change adherents with population growth, and it all goes away. Poof.

Due to the nature of the scientific method science is almost never settled. And I didn't say it is in this case. Why is it that so many on the denial side have to resort to conspiracy theories and strawmen?

Should we stop funding the military once we're no longer at war?

Let's separate climate policy from climate science. Whether anthropogenic climate change is real and what we should do about it if it is real are very different questions. I agree that the policy side is deficient.

My main question and to be honest here , my objection .. How does us paying untold amounts of money in the end , just to be be a part of some European conglomerate / union/ club, do anything but cause us more debit? We don’t have to pay union dues to take care of our on pollution , we can’t force other countries to do what they agree on paper to do regardless if we are in or out of the club , there’s no secret code to have access to their information , why would we pay X amount of dollars to that fund help us when , if that’s what we want to do , we can just keep the money in house ? I’ll be waiting for this explanation.
