No break is warranted. I stand by my previous statement. Furthermore, with Portis' repeated defense of dog fighting, I would be more than a little curious if he himself owns dogs and, if so, what breed of dog he owns.

You're right. Clinton Portis should be suspended several games because he insinuated that dogfighting is okay.

There's no way in hell he'll get in trouble. He didn't do anything wrong. He's got the right to speak his mind and he did. He can have the opinion that unlawful things are okay, as long as he doesn't behave in a manner that contradicts the law.

Kellen Winslow has behaved like an idiot, but he hasn't killed anyone. There's a couple of former UT stars that can't say the same. We are one school that really isn't in a position to criticize discipline.

What is your deal? Exactly where did I say ANYTHING about Portis being suspended for games or getting in trouble in ANY way?

I said, "Portis wasn't joking. He's just another example of an ignorant, low-life NFL player." Your response to this was "Give me a break. You act like he murdered the dogs himself.." Then, you later said to give Portis a break. No break is warranted. I stand by my statement. Portis IS an ignorant, low-life NFL player. You don't have to murder dogs to be an ignorant, low-life NFL player, and Portis is not alone in earning this distinction. There are lots of them.

Didn't say anything about Winslow or Portis being a thug, but Miami has had their fair share of "bad apples." I'm not saying UT hasn't either, but I think we have room to talk a little bit since we don't let our program spiral out of control like so...........
