CFN predicts a close one Saturday... (TN 30 UK 26).

Kentucky vs Tennessee Prediction, Game Preview, Lines, How To Watch (collegefootballnews.com)

Kentucky is a problem.
Everyone will be focusing on what’s next with Tennessee’s massive date against Georgia, but UK will bring something a little different with its style. It’ll be enough to hang around and make everyone freak out a bit, but …
The lack of a Wildcat pass rush will be an issue.
Hooker is deadly enough when he’s in a groove, but give him time to let the downfield plays to develop and forget it.
It’s going to be a 60-minute fight, but the Vols will get out alive with two good fourth quarter scoring drives.
And then it’ll be on to Athens.

We are due another close one. Weather will not help us. Never take anything for granted. Remember Syracuse and Arkansas in 1998, even the best teams usually have to have one skin of their teeth win that you have to be thankful for divine intervention

I see no way this game is close. We beat Bama. We scored 52 on Bama. 40 on LSU. We aren't going to have an issue against a UK team We didn't punt against last year. UK on the other hand hasn't scored more than 27 against a power 5 opponent thus year.

This gane will be more like 52-31 Vols.

Every week for the Vols has been the “real, true test” of this team. Next week will be the same thing. Every week that follows will be a repeat. They’re just trying to drive viewer numbers.
Once you get ranked as highly as we are l, you have a great big target on your back every time you set cleats to the field. Every week is the true test because every week you will face a different set of circumstances but always from a group of young men whose entire year will be a celebration if they knock you off.

I don't get it. The one undeniable truth with our new coach is he doesn't let them look ahead or take anyone lightly. I can't tell you how long it's been since we did what we were supposed to do to inferior teams before CJH.How many times did we lose or squeak out a win against FCS teams before him. Relax, he will have the team ready to play at a high level. All the talk of looking past KY to get to GA. is unfounded at this point.

Idk about close but I expect UK to play their safeties deep and refuse to give up the big play. Make UT dink and dunk and go on 10 play drives instead of 3 play drives. More opportunities to create fumbles or interceptions.

Reduce the number of possessions by UT and keep the score below 40.

UK gave us a hell of a game last year, I doubt CJH let’s them look past the Wildcats. I think they’re worse and we’re better than last year so I don’t see it being the nail biter of the 2021 meeting but it won’t be in part because we haven’t been overlooking anyone.

Hope the team isn't caught looking ahead and is focused on UK.
The team didn't look ahead to Pitt against ball state.

The team didn't look ahead to Florida against Akron.

The team didn't look ahead to ALABAMA when playing LSU

What makes anyone think the team will look ahead of Kentucky to Georgia? It's unfounded BVS nonsense.

Let them play deep. Jabari small, jaylen wright and Hendon hooker will have a field day on the ground
