Twitter accused of protecting CNN after tech giant bans James O'Keefe: 'They're all on the same team'

Critics accused Twitter Thursday of banning Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe from its platform over the right-wing guerrilla news outlet's damning exposé of CNN.

Project Veritas relaunched its #ExposeCNN campaign this week by sharing footage of CNN technical director Charles Chester revealing the liberal network's dirty laundry. In the footage, Chester claimed that CNN's "focus" during the 2020 election campaign was to "get rid of" President Trump, that the network hyped its coronavirus coverage for "gangbuster" ratings, and that it aims to "help" Black Lives Matter.

In fact, I'm not convinced the bosses at CNN actually wanted Trump to lose. They probably made $ the best with him. Trump losing seems like an unfortunate byproduct of doing what makes them the most $....opposing Trump.

CNN evening viewership is down 50% since Trump lost. People want to be angered by the news these days. Outrage sells big-time and many shrewd people noticed it.

Some (I think) even took on "personas" to do so. Tucker Carlson's early work included a scathing piece on Gov
George W. Bush making fun of a woman that was executed and quoted him as dropping the F bomb multiple times. He's also attended 50 Grateful dead concerts.

Rush Limbaugh was a mild mannered top 40 DJ called Jeff Christie.

These are two examples of guys that pivoted when the winds started to shift and cashed in big time.

CNN has Shed More than Half its Viewers since Biden took office, Down Staggering 60 Percent in Key Demo

CNN has been hemorrhaging viewers since President Biden took office, with ratings down more than 50 percent in multiple categories since Inauguration Day.

The liberal network spent years attacking former President Donald Trump and the network thrived during his final days in office amid a brief post-election spike. CNN averaged 2.2 million viewers during the first three weeks of 2021, but it has averaged just one million viewers since Biden took office, a staggering decline of 54 percent.

CNN’s struggles are even more prominent among the key advertising demographic of adults age 25-54, with a drop of 60 percent. It averaged 617,000 demo viewers from Dec. 28 through Inauguration Day but only 244,000 since Biden entered the White House.

@Franklin Pierce CNN will count the terminal monitors and artificially pump those numbers up once the airports usage peeks back to pre-covid

@midnight orange I like your analogy but I wish it was a bigger deal than breaking kayfabe or admitting kayfabe exists. After all the chicanerous Orwell like 'No Think' CNN (and the 5 other MSM outlets) has pulled with soft edits and shadow deletes over the past 10 years, this is just another drop in the ocean to the general public.

I doubt most people under the age of 35 are consciously cognizant that Journalism used to imply an effort to report the news impartially. We've always had yellow journalism but pre internet, about 20 odd years ago, we had 25+ sources of independently owned MSM. Now we're down to 6MSM outlets. Journalists don't have platforms to develop and separate themselves from their peers like they used to. We've got Urinalists like Don Lemon/Carlson that answer to their oligarchs. Pick a side, don't mind or notice the kayfabe, while the scope of what's reported gets narrower and narrower......

China/USA, Capitalism/Socialism, Rep/Dem, climate change petro/electric, gold standard defacto petro currency/digital currency...... I doubt anybody has the capacity for a concise mental algorithm of how it all ties together, but I think the oligarchs and their ensembles utilize both sides.

I like to think the cause of TDS to be like; the King's Fool got elected Prime Minister to Parliament but was too dumb to realize he was just there to play a role. That's as close as I'll get to anything like Q.

CNN Announces it is Pulling network from airports, Twitter rejoices

CNN announced Tuesday that it would pull the plug on its long-running Airport Network, causing jubilation among many of the network's critics on social media.

Network President Jeff Zucker announced the CNN Airport Network will officially end on March 31, citing a "deep decline in airport traffic because of COVID-19, coupled with all the new ways that people are consuming content on their personal devices."

For years, CNN critics mocked the anti-Trump network for heavily relying on airport travelers for its viewership, which had cratered for much of the Trump presidency.

As part of the deal, CNN paid airports to leave the network on, and many travel hubs even have agreements in which CNN pays for their TVs and infrastructure. The Philadelphia Inquirer previously reported that airports also receive "up to six minutes each hour to promote the airport or local attractions" as part of the deal.

This is a communist North Korea and China tactic. This is how you brainwash people deleting that it happened to shutdown the voice of dissent.

This is only happening in one direction.

I hope O'Keefe wins a billion dollar lawsuit against Twitter.
