Lap what up? The country being in a free fall? Inflation out of control? We are no longer energy independent? We are giving 170b to the war in Ukraine and maybe more? Our military is having a hard time recruiting the people we need to run our military? We have a weak president?

Things are wonderful. Why would anyone think about voting for the opposite of what is happening now.?

Alternatively, Trump’s continued relevance is because people continue to make defending or supporting him painless by blaming his continued support on “the left” rather than those who continue to support him.

He’s not actually defensible, at this point. Maybe if those who wanted something better stopped turning a blind eye to the uncritical acceptance of him leaning in on January 6 and the Access Hollywood tapes, then maybe there wouldn’t be so many willing sycophants.

Or maybe he’s the response to the 8 abysmal years of Barry and the 4 abysmal years of dementia Joe. Hell the establishment had to unleash a plague to run cover for the mail in fiasco to get him last time.

That doesn’t explain his continued support against other republicans, but somebody thinking it does made for a timely demonstration of uncritical acceptance of talking points, and I thank you for that.

Trump is not going to do any Debates --- Primary or General.
Reason is because they will cut his mike mid sentence and he knows it.
Fair or Not he is not going to debate. It is not his thing because he loses control of the stage.
He will take cheap shots from the sidelines and hold town hall type events but he ain't going to debate in the Primary or General Election.

The only hope the Dems have is if he is in jail at the time people go to the polls.

I like his position on homelessness and battling mental illness l, he nailed that as the main cause over guns in the shooting issue..and his response to his bump stock ban is as decent, especially if he truly worked with the NRA on it

Indeed! Anytime his mouth is open, he’s lying. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m way used to politicians lying no matter what party they are tied to, but the POS currently in the White House takes it to another level altogether. It’s obscene.

No doubt all politicians lie. What lies has Biden told vs the lies that Trump has told. These are both long lists, Trumps are questioned every day but what lies have Biden told.
