CNN vs Trump

I am growing increasingly weary of Trump. The Republican mantra for 2024 has the be the economy 24 x7. Everything else is a needless distraction. Americans want prosperity, not schoolyard boasts and bullying.
Agree, just focus on economy the rest will take care of itself. Establish the economy platform and let items such as crime, border, social and international issues- Ukraine/China/Russia be cherry on top issues.

I’d like to see someone else get the nomination. The democrats are never going to work with him and some republicans will never work with him.

Trump is right though. The United States was better off being energy independent.

The white neo-liberal always possess an arrogance about the black vote. The racist tactics and social programs are strong draws but blacks just think Trump is racist but they think Biden is an empty skull.

In a moment of honesty, if you ask 10 people who they would choose to run their small business - Biden or Trump, only 3 in 10 would choose Biden. More than likely it would be you, a female white neo-liberal and a black woman. Biden can't run a soup kitchen.
This is good, I would not choose either. Biden can't run a soup kitchen; Trump would bankrupt the business and/or do a hostile takeover. Either way you are screwed for dealing with those idiots.

I hope for someone better but given the choice how do the last 2 years compare to the previous 4. Let's not include the media and deep state attempting to sabotage the POTUS. In fact that should pis$ us off. So no word salad etc otherwise maybe passing on a reply works for me.

Easy, media covers what they want you to be upset about. Difference in the last two years verses the previous four.

Is Nancy speaker now?
Is Mitch McConnell Senate Majority Leader now?

As far as the House of Representatives is concerned, Republicans only gained 9 seats, despite the Democratic Party President having a 40% approval rating, and an economy with record high inflation ... and one of those seats, which Republicans gained was that of George Santos, who has no chance of being re-elected in 2024.

By contrast, Democrats gained 40 seats in the House, during Trump's mid-term election year of 2018, when the economy was booming.

It is so stupid that some of you want to sell that as a success for Republicans. It was a disaster.

Why didn't they challenge the law? Sore losing looks bad. And the courts aren't going to toss **** after the fact when they had months to challenge . Seriously you are mad at the wrong folks. GOP should have locked all that up in litigation before the election. But instead you are biatch at Biden. Who had nothing to do with it. Wake up .
I agree on that. Dems flat out outmaneuvered Reps. Either that or Reps really didn’t care enough to challenge.

Pelosi is no longer speaker, the drunk moron isn't in power anymore and that's a good thing. This was not a good Senate map for the Rs. I never expected them to take the Senate

They better have a good response to abortion. I think that topic really hurt the right in midterms. I’m not sure what the strategy should be but ignoring the impact of that topic would be a mistake.

The 2022 Senate map was really not that bad at all for Republicans. There were Senate elections in 4 battleground states which Trump had won in 2016, including :

Georgia
Pennsylvania
Arizona
Wisconsin

The only one that Republicans won was with incumbent Sen. Ron Johnson in Wisconsin.

It was definitely possible for Republicans to retake the Senate in the 2022 mid-term elections ... if their cultish voters didn't have to nominate whoever Donald Trump endorsed during the primary, they likely would have. Raphael Warnock, John Fetterman, Maggie Hassan and Catherine Cortez Masto were all very weak and vulnerable Democratic Party candidates.

.... and once again, since 2006, the party out-of-power has picked up at least 20 seats in the House in the mid-term election years. The 2022 mid-terms were a disaster for Republicans.

Pelosi would disagree. The goal was for the regime to finally have resistance. Mission accomplished

I don't think she or anyone else expected Democrats to retain majority control of the House. A 9 seat pick-up for Republicans was far below every projection. Geraldo Rivera predicted that Republicans would only gain 12 seats, while he was a guest on Fox News's "The Five." Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld laughed at him.

You are trying way too hard to spin the 2022 mid-term elections as some sort of success for Republicans. It's ridiculous.

Rs took the house, period. That's all I care about. The radical dangerous regime you worship thankfully has a body to keep them in check. That's all I wanted.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Democrats just need to flip 5 seats in 2024 - and the Santos seat is pretty much a Dem lock.

Yeah actually there was an insult in there, but I understand it due to your anger.
Point it out then. I didn’t insult you, but I’m not surprised if you felt silly.

It doesn’t take much to highlight the absurdity of religion.

You say looking at the stars makes you believe in God. It’s convenient to ignore all the bad things that go on under the purview of a supposedly all-powerful God while natural phenomena are so spectacular to you you can’t imagine it wasn’t divinely engineered.

And for the Free Will buffoon, where does that come in when a tsunami kills thousands? Whose free will dictated that?

Also does anyone with the misfortune of being born somewhere they worship the wrong god ever have a chance? Are they supposed to, despite his family and everyone around him being one thing, "see the light" and convert to Christianity? Many places they’d prob even persecute them quite severely for that. So if that person, like everyone around him, lives and dies subscribing to the wrong religion, he’s doomed to Hell? What chance did your God ever give him in that case? What an awful thing to damn hundreds of millions of people due to their circumstances and environment.

The problem with religious people like you is they have such a limited perspective. It incubates an egocentric and parochial worldview. I’d think someone who flies around the world would be more open minded.

Lot of anger. I pray you find peace somehow.

And you could primary Biden but nope because that’s who you dems are now. Communists. Slo joe and his hoe is the worst administration in our history
I’d love it if we primaried Biden, but he’s the incumbent and it’s just hard to do that in our sh!tty system. You better be glad we aren’t because most other candidates would wipe the floor with Trump like Biden did the first time.

Unfortunately we’re still having economic effects from the coronavirus pandemic, which Trump failed to react to in any meaningful way. The left overreacted for sure, but it’s typical Republican nonsense to sit on their hands and do nothing then criticize those who tried to act after the fact.

It’s kinda hard to blame Biden for inflation that’s worldwide, but you idiots still do. But US recovery has been robust compared to other countries, so it might just be good enough by fall 2024 that y’all will have to focus on transsexuals, or removing slavery references from school books, or making 11 year old girls carry their rape babies to term.

When the cultural issues are dominating the news, that’s how you know Repugs are grasping at straws.

Lol. Do whatever it takes not to engage. You can’t tell me where I insulted you or answer any of my questions about religion.

How do you expect to minister to anyone if you can’t even begin to explain the inconsistencies in your dogma?

I hope you fly planes better than you debate.

You people are mentally ill. Of course biden can't be held responsible for anything. Every thing is Trump's fault. No one question dear leader.

Some Rs overreacted. Most people did. The shutdowns were dangerous and stupid. The mask mandates were pointless and dumb.

Excellent chance senate flips GOP in 2024. By my count 8/10 most questionable races are Dem seats

Slim chance it flips in 2024 or really anytime over the next 20 years, the house is the only chamber they can hope to win a majority in. Which they better concentrate on because I doubt we see another R in the oval office for at least another decade.
