CNN vs Trump

You people are mentally ill. Of course biden can't be held responsible for anything. Every thing is Trump's fault. No one question dear leader.

Some Rs overreacted. Most people did. The shutdowns were dangerous and stupid. The mask mandates were pointless and dumb.
I blame Biden for lax border security and a messy Afghanistan withdrawal (which Trump also scheduled and failed to prepare for.)

But you all blame him for everything. You live in the alternate reality Trump has created. I don’t give a crap about Joe Biden really. I just recognize for the GOP for the Trump cult it has become.

Btw it’s funny how you all embraced body autonomy when you were asked to wear a mask or get a shot.

Easy to be anti-vax when it’s a relatively mild virus. When a serious one comes along, natural selection should take care of most of you dunces. But I suspect your self-preservationist steak will kick in and we’ll all see once again that you’re hypocrites.

Excellent chance senate flips GOP in 2024. By my count 8/10 most questionable races are Dem seats
Not sure even a squad of Herschel Walker level candidates would prevent Democrats from losing Ohio and Montana.

Maine and West Virginia are also possible flips. Is Manchin even running again? It’ll be a shame for him to get ousted. Democrats need a Romney figure to tell them when they’re going too far, even if they don’t listen any better than Republicans.

With Kamala and your Dem Stooges saying they would not take the Trump vaccine, I took them at their word.
So much BS lies by this admin regarding COVID, well frankly every subject, you are your type would make Jim Jones proud.

Tester has a good following in Montana. Republicans can't run another Herschel.

Relatively mild virus, interesting. You all spent 2 shears telling us it’s the worst thing we’ve ever dealt with. Glad to see you finally came around

Lol. Do whatever it takes not to engage. You can’t tell me where I insulted you or answer any of my questions about religion.

How do you expect to minister to anyone if you can’t even begin to explain the inconsistencies in your dogma?

I hope you fly planes better than you debate.

Well for the people it killed it wasn’t that mild was it?

Nobody told you it was the worst thing ever. They asked you to have consideration for other humans, and that’s what you thought was the worst thing ever.

Public health will always come before your personal crusades. If you want to participate in society there are just sacrifices you have to make. That’s how it’s been for time immemorial. You can piss off into the woods and live your life in solitude to reduce the number of societal mandates you’re subjected to, in fact that would make me happy. But you Ayn Rand self-reliant types never want to acknowledge that you need other people, and you definitely don’t want to consider the well-being of those people.

In the meantime I’m sure you’ll continue being the worst.

Oh now the one who was crying about being insulted is doing the insulting.

And he’s not even attempting to answer any questions or counter any points.

Go tell someone with cancer how great God is because, idk, the Grand Canyon or something. Buffoon.

It sure seems to be hurting anytime Trump is mentioned.

All that shows is that those countries love our tax money and the Dems and Biden love to launder it thru those countries... Trump made them pay their share

What’s funny is how anybody from either party can claim the other is cult-ish. If you solely vote one party over the other and can’t vote based on the policies at hand your the problem.

Not saying that’s you specifically..

They better have a good response to abortion. I think that topic really hurt the right in midterms. I’m not sure what the strategy should be but ignoring the impact of that topic would be a mistake.
If that’s the platform of winning, I’d rather them ignore it. Watch the country fall further into chaos with liberal leadership. Watch those that use that as their voting criteria be hit hardest by cost of living, unemployment and own personal morals hit with reality.

You were definitely a double-masker.

The more gridlock the better. Either side owning all 3 is bad for the country.

I would have thought the economy would’ve been a bigger factor in midterms. Now, RvW was pretty new at that time so maybe 2 more years of high costs while the world didn’t collapse over RvW will be enough to make the economy a bigger factor this time but I wouldn’t assume that if I’m a Rep candidate. Reps do a terrible job of strategizing. Dems run circles around Reps in that regard. Just look at the 2020 election if you want proof.

Agree on economy and the 2020 election. Problem for the right was being unprepared for the game shift of Covid, mail ballots and getting the message out. If the economy continues on and the projections are true the economy will be number one issue starting once campaigns ramp up in the next few months.

I think the filibuster probably makes an actual split unnecessary. I’d prefer that the senate be full of moderates so that the filibuster can be broken by a coalition of rational people so that the legislation that actually gets passed is generally reasonable.

A Senate split from the presidency effectively stops appointments with the way things are. Obviously that has value if you don’t like the president.

I just don’t understand voting party over principle. Like before Jeff Flake retired he said he would vote on an issue one way (I forget the issue) if he were running for reelection but he voted the other way since he wasn’t. It shouldn’t be so hard. Define your values and vote with them. If it’s an issue you don’t know enough about to vote then either abstain or educate yourself. I know it’s a pipe dream though. Divergent had faction before blood and we have party before principle. Yay us.

Edit: Sorry, I didn’t connect the dots well to your response. Your mention of moderates got me thinking about what it could be like and then I got on the soapbox.
