And……
...and Cabinets are only as effective as the people they have in them. Trump wasn't an effective leader - he drove away the people he surrounded himself with. They thought he was a moron, quite literally...
Trump wanted yes men in his Cabinet and when they didn't bow down, he forced them out.
was that enough of an "and"?
It is sad, but our current reality. Politics is a dirty field replete with folks of low to very questionable character. Folks with actual integrity are swallowed by the others. They either don't last long or are ultimately converted.I get the sentiment. But man, if the people with the best character and integrity are too good for the position, holy crap what a sad commentary on things.
Even if that is what Donald Trump meant ....Lie!
Not what he said..he said wait until it is over before even accusing as it would make Putin more desperate.
Even if that is what Donald Trump meant ....
Why wait to call Vladimir Putin a war criminal, when the evidence of Putin's crimes is overwhelming and indisputable? How would that make Vladimir Putin "more desperate?" That doesn't make any sense.
War Crimes Watch: Targeting schools, Russia bombs the future
War Crimes Watch: Russia's onslaught on Ukrainian hospitals
Russia has clearly engaged in bombing campaigns, which targeted schools and hospitals in the Ukraine. Those are war crimes.
We have yet another example of Donald Trump declining to hold Vladimir Putin publicly accountable for his criminal acts of aggression. Donald Trump's reluctance to be critical of Vladimir Putin is bizarre.
I have and there is no reason not to call someone who is obviously guilty of war crimes ... a war criminal. This was Trump, once again, refusing to hold Vladimir Putin accountable for actions. It is bizarre. It makes perfect sense just as he said. You should listen to the full answer instead of snippets.
There is no other way to interpret this ... Vladimir Putin is undeniably a war criminal. Putin has targeted schools (including nurseries) and hospitals with bombing raids. Yet, Donald Trump won't say whether or not he thinks Vladimir Putin is a war criminal. That isn't statesmanship. That is weakness, and it's pathetic. You look at everything with some conspiracy when it comes to Trump.

Trump's response was another example of how reluctant he is to be critical of Vladimir Putin. It is bizarre. His response was totally rational. About time to replace your tin foil hat..this one is getting rusty.
You really have a boner for the Nielsen Company don't you?Trump town hall Brings More than 3 Million Viewers to CNN, per early ratings
The controversial event brought in 3.1 million total viewers, per early Nielsen ratings.
In comparison, the channel's 8 p.m. hour on Tuesday, occupied by Anderson Cooper 360, only saw 707,000 viewers.
CNN's event was ranked the No. 1 program on cable news for both total viewers and viewers in the 25-54 demographic.
CNN's ratings bump then lasted throughout the night, providing elevated ratings in the 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. hours as well.

An authoritarian ruler, such as Vladimir Putin, who has repeatedly conducted bombing campaigns which targeted schools, including nursery schools, and hospitals, including those specific to the needs of children .... has indeed committed war crimes, and should be referred to as a war criminal. Trump will never do that when it comes to Putin. Trump only shows Putin deference and affection.
