“It was cool because he (Elarbee) had never been to my school,” Ginther said. “He has come out here in the past but I had a baseball game that day so he just came to the game. He hasn’t been to Fort Collins before so that was cool.” “He just goes with the flow,” Ginther said. “I mean obviously when he is coaching it will be different but he is just like a chill dude.”

“I talk to them every day,” Ginther said. “Me, Jake (Merklinger), Max (Anderson), Jesse (Perry), Bennett (Warren), Boo (Carter) talk every day on the group chat.” Their conversations lately have been honed around trying to get 5-star Jordan Seaton into the class. “He likes us a lot,” Ginther said. “He is going to try and take an OV for the Georgia game. We just talk. I don’t recruit him. I just try to make friends with him and then drop reasons why I think Tennessee is better. I don’t make hard recruiting pitches or anything.”

He spoke to Josh Heupel earlier this week and he loves his demeanor as well. “He was just checking up on me,” Ginther said. “We just talk about how our weeks are going and how our families are doing. He will recap my games and tell me what I did right. Just talk about what I need to do to be ready.”

like when Boo went to Colorado.....and then uses it as a chance to convince Seaton to come to UT for an UOV instead of an Oklahoma (?) OV...

not saying we can't lose recruits, because we obviously will and do. but this staff focuses on guys who are going to stay committed. its the benefit to not being the high pressure "closers" who get a guy to commit, even though it doesn't mean they are committed, and then you sweat every player for the rest of the year. This staff tends to lock players down without having to go the Clemson cult route.
