They touched on that in the radio interview, and Chaney said something to the effect of "I'd encourage Coach Kiffin to be the one who calls the plays."

In other words, he didn't seem to have any problem with being the guy in the background working with the entire offense and the OLine.

I think the 'who's calling the plays' is a bit overblown. Calling plays is a team effort between the information the coaches in the box see compared to what the coach on the field sees with the defensive strategy and game plan factored in. Whether or not Chaney 'calls the play's' he's going to have a lot of input into the creation of the game plan play call strategy and he'll have major input into the plays that are called during the game.

Probably... but Chaney did say he wouldn't mind if LK was the one doing the play-calling on game days. I'm sure what you said applies as well.

I didn't read through this thread or any of the others, but take a look at the dude from 2006 to 2007. i know it's been talked about how much weight he lost, but he seriously had to lose 200 pounds

I know what he has went through. I didn't have surgery, just hard work. I am 6'-6", so alot of people had to look close.

I give him congrats!:good!:
