Coach Conrad on TOS...

Coach Conrad is the best special teams coach in Broward County and probably in the state of Florida! If Tenn. hires him, Palardy is a Vol for sure. His players lover playing for him and he expects nothing, but the best. His special team at STA where the best of the best, hense his kickers and punters are all over the country. The best part is that He has multiple contacts in Florida, knows all the players, coaches, press etc. and could recruit the snot out of Florida. He knows everyone!

That would be crazy. Let's do it.

I have a couple questions and a comment:)

Question 1: I may have overlooked something but what does TOS stand for?

Question 2: Someone may have asked already but who of our current commits was gran recruiting?

Comment: I think they may need to make room for just a special teams coach seeing how that is what cost us 1 game for sure. That is one area on the team that I never felt comfortable with all year long.

1. The other site

2. Palardy for one...Jeff Luc...

My feeling is you need to secure the EE and naming the right coaches will go a long way in doing that, but having them enrolling in school in a couple of weeks hurts.

Palardy is not an EE so take your time Kiffin and get a guy he wants to play for.

So I assuming both coaches are not coaching in the bowl game... does anyone have this confirmed?

I thought I read Palardy was an EE. Is he really not?

If you don't think special teams players aren't important...did anyone see the Nebraska Texas game? FG win. Did anyone see the Pitt/Cinci game...lost by a missed xtra pt. Did anyone see the games Tenn. played this year where special teams played a part? If you think field position isn't important, then play without a kicker and punter. I know one high school that has better special teams play than all the teams the meet, when all things are equal for both squads, special teams vs no special teams wins.

Well they need a WR and RB coach now with 2 positions open. Who do you suggest they get rid of to hire the ST coach?

We would need to get rid of someone to have a pure ST coach.

Is that a given that someone would have to go?

I would say that ST was definitely a shortfall this year. If there was anyway to get an excellent ST coach while filling the other needs then I would try and do it. Maybe combine RB and WR to one coach? IDK really how they would do it but it definitely seems like a good thing to have a really good ST coach. As it has showed with TN this year as well as other teams this year: ST make a major impact on the final score.

Maybe WR/TE into one coach, but WR/RB is just stupid.

The three phases of the game:
Offense
Defense
Special Teams

If this is correct then I would put some major weight into trying to get a great ST coach. Coaches always talk about the phases of the game and if this is all true then that is 33.33% of the game. That's a large percentage of the game not to have a great coach for it.

It is hard to have a coach that only does ST and nothing else at the college level. NFL is much different.

Look at Meyer, he coaches ST for Florida.

Sorry, but according to chavisut, a head coach cannot handle a position, let alone a third of the team.

Even Wilson although Porter is coaching for LSU in the Capital One?

Is anyone familiar with how much CLK worked with the WR's this year. I know for a fact that this time last year he was selling the idea to WR recruits that he would personally be heavily involved in coaching the WR's.
