Coach Conrad on TOS...

Hire a RB coach, Convert our TE coach to WR's as well(after all our WR's need to block well and our TE's are running great routes). This will free up a spot for a ST coach. Like a few people said before, most games are won and lost on ST play.

"Well they need a WR and RB coach now with 2 positions open. Who do you suggest they get rid of to hire the ST coach?"

i dont remember for sure so correct me if i am wrong but couldnt he coach both?give him a good salary to coach both im sure he could do it then hire conrad as well for ST then were just fine with recruiting :)

If I told you that Kiffin is trying to get in touch with the Troop, what would you say?? I'm not saying he is or isn't, but I don't rule out anything with Kiffin.

I would not believe it. IMO, we would have could have kept Gran and his South Florida connections for far less than it would take to lure Taylor. Taylor has his Asst HC title and makes $320,000.

More going on with the Gran situation than people know it appears. We could have offered him $600K and he'd probably be gone...

Gran wasn't staying here long, IMO. He is a wonderful recruiter and a man of faith, but he's not willing to work near as hard as Kiffin wants coaches to work.

I don't think Gran saw eye to eye with Kiffin, Orgeron, and their intensity/language/dedication/never at home...

well i could understand that, being away from family alot recruiting compared to recruiting basically in your back yard for FSU........

true! guess he would recruit the same amount at FSU as he did UT just not be away from family since recruiting for FSU will be in their back yard!!

South Florida is not exactly in FSU's back yard. Miami is 480 miles from FSU. That is about how far Philly is from where I live in North East Tennessee.
