Is it just me or the OC/DC the most responsible for gameday results?They do call the plays correct.And the position coaches through the week since that's who coaches them in practice?What does the HC really do except being responsible for hiring said coaches?

it depends on the HC, guys like Saban are very involved in every aspect of the game. also alot of Head coaches are responsible for playcalling depending on there back ground. Kiffin call the Offensive plays while he was here, and I would think a heavily defensive minded coach would call the Defense for his team.
