Glad to see the Cincy players haven't forgot to play some ball.I do understand some of the bad play because they don't have their OC/DC.But seriously,they have no buisness losing to Duke.JMO.They have played 12 games together,Surely they haven't totally forgot how to play.When we won the NC in 98 we didn't have our OC.I'm pretty sure Wiest is calling the plays for cincy.I'd say Bajakian gave him some input on what kind of plays to call like Cutcliffe did with Sanders.

To be fair..IIRC his recruiting was about the same, maybe even a little better than Kellys.....I wonder how high Sabans Mich St classes were ranked? I really don't know, just wondering if he tore it up at MSU relative to his recruiting at LSU and Bama.

I think the whole idea was to make him think about it, yardage didn't matter at that point...it worked.

i would have thought that Cincy getting rolled by Duke would show VN that CBJ is a great game day coach and took a horrible program to a 9 win season.

So I flipped on the game cheering for Cutcliffe and Duke, then at the end of the first quarter came here to read the VN thoughts. WOW. Not the way I would have looked at it.

Tommy T left several Texas Tech recruits at a restaurant, went to the mens room to call Cincy, got the job, and didnt have the decency to return to the table- he went home. What a bunch of slimes these guys are- it is about them , not the players. With this environment , is it shocking at all the underhanded, crooked things that go on. This kind of decay in a system will eventually ruin the whole college fb world. It is only a matter of time. Petrino is a case in point, why do parents allow their sons to play for him? I wouldnt . Smarten-up America this dog-eat-dog, win anyway you can stuff is corrosive and may ultimately kill the game. ( I know- somebody will pt out that I wanted BP , my position is you fight slime with slime) We tried Dudley Doo-right, how did that work out ?

We vote with our dollars. If SMU didn't bring down the whole system, I doubt Tuberville dining and dashing at the Sizzler will.

losing an OC, vs how many coaches did they lose? not equal (it was alot more than just OC/DC) for example they lost the Head coach. Plus Cut scripted the first 20 plays for us before he left.

Kelly went 12-0. Kelly played in the BCS and won that sorry ass conference. He parlayed that into the recruiting on display tonight. That's not curmudgeon anything. That's a shoddy hiring process on our part.
