Coach Fancher to take assistant job at UNCW

Yea, I didn't think Fancher was an actual coach, so it is a promotion for him and with his prior mentor. Good for him. I actually know someone who played for Fancher at Maryville College.

Also, Buzz made some great hires. I am not sure how much sound footing he is on because I think he has struggled a bit although they were really bad when he got there. But I had no clue that longtime UNC-Asheville coach, Eddie Biedenbach, left on his own to be an assistant for Buzz. Was a fixture at Asheville and is actually making more money at Wilmington.

Got to move one of the fulltime assistants to make any difference(good or bad) in recruiting. Those other jobs are very insignificant in recruiting

Not trying to single you out. But there's a few on here that never criticize CM. Losing a 1st round game in the NIT, then hearing how the players are not into the game, or don't care since its the NIT. Giving a lame excuse why the Vols lost. That game is on CM for not having the team prepared.

According to some, CM signed the 2nd coming of Patrick Ewing to replace Yemi. Everyone knows there are better recruits out there.

I want CM to win because I don't want to see another coaching change. But he needs to quit recruiting projects, and get to the tournament every year.

Well first, I am working so not taking the time to do that. But, second, the NIT game was but one area of criticism thrown at Martin. Your first statement was that there are some that never criticize Martin. Frankly, I didn't care much about the NIT, and obviously many other fans didn't either considering the size of the crowd. I and many others have criticized Martin for PG recruiting, playing different types of defense, and early season losses. Again, people just make up whatever to prove their point.

I feel different about the NIT. If The Vols are playing, I want to see them win with a max
Effort. And there are some on here that will try to put a positive spin on everything Martin does. The NIT is a prime example. Saying you don't care is what one says after a loss.

Well I am a competitive person and like to win anything I play. But that being said, I am not using the NIT loss as harsh criticism against Martin. It is human nature to have a let down, especially when only 3k fans attend. That said, I am not concerned about that loss. I am more concerned with the other items that I mentioned above.
