The business associates crowd is going to show up usually no matter what. They don't have any skin in the tix. It's a perk. However, when Ky is good and we are average (and we were picked to be horrible and after the Austin Peay loss a lot of us thought we were well on our way) then you're going to see much more blue in the building.

Ky fans would've been embarrassed to lose to this UT team if you compare the talent and it almost happened. Realistically, this should've been a 10-13 point loss. I don't remember the line, but I figured it would be there by game's end.

Again, if the product on the court is good then there will be more UT fans buying tix and less tix for Ky fans. When Ky is struggling and UT was good like during Lofton's Sr year there was just a sprinkling of blue there that day. I was there and there was very little blue there that day. We were good and Ky was average by their measure so not as many Ky fans showed up.

Just the size of our building and the proximity of their campus to UT's campus is going to create more opportunities for them to get tix though at any time

Always appreciate your posts. It does hurt, the salt as you say, if you get them at cost, what do the people that call Pearl fans band waggoners have to say?

This is not about Cuonzo PR, this about the people in the "rich" seats giving...say again...giving... their seats to the opposing team. Should not happen, should not happen.

Yeah, let me clarify something I seen mentioned last page. The tour bus folks that i was talking about that come down, are not packaged in all lower level seating, they are spread out all over the arena. But they do have access to 5-10 seats together in the lower level, scattered out.

As for my tickets, my aunt is a UT alumni with season tickets. She was in a car wreck 10 years ago and physically can't really do it anymore, so she gives me the tickets when I want them.

I've got one even better. I know a prominent Vandy booster highly connected to the athletic dept. He gives his Ky-Vandy hoops tix to a Ky fan every year. That Ky fan happens to be his boss.

Yeah, it is what it is and I understand that angle. Hell, I own two season tickets to the Titans, and I basically use them to court some influential people. Bosses, potential accounts, you know how it goes. It's all about the networking, and who you know.

However, that rule would not apply to UK season tickets. Over my dead body would I surrender lower level tix to a rival fan base. Blasphemy. :)

A lot of fans, especially the younger ones, don't know how it works. Once they get older and realize that a lot of their networking will be with rival fans then they realize how it works.

I've had Vandy fans give me tix to football games (like it would be hard any way) and I've had UT friends give their tix to Bama, Auburn, LSU, pick a team in the last 3 years, fans.

Hell, I've sat in the suites at Neyland numerous times and rival fans are even up there. I've sat near former UT president Joe Johnson's suite and there have been numerous rival fans in the suites. He doesn't blink an eye. He knows how it is just like everyone else. It happens everywhere. It's happening more now because UT is average at best, but it has even happened during the 90's when UT was at their best. Of course, it was on a smaller scale because UT was dominating pretty much everyone but Fla, but there were still rival fans up there.

No such thing. keep your job out of desperation. If Vandy was # 1 in the nation at anythng, you could still get a ticket, it's Vandy, no one cares, no one not even Franklin can make them, no one CARES.

Sorry, I've had a few and I'm not happy. The basketball coach at UT said he was unhappy with the show of support from our fan base. This thread is dedicated to some who think he hasn't done enough to warrant a complaint. Dude got Stokes. That ain't crap at UK, but it should be enough to fill the cheap seats here, course we ain't talkin' 'bout the cheap seats.

Put the students behind the bench, Gdammit.

Well, yes there is such a thing as a prominent Vandy booster. They don't have the number of fans that UT and the other schools in the SEC have, but they have a number of prominent boosters. It's funny to hear the sh*t he says he takes from the other fans in the area after the Ky game.

Now back to your drinking...

I have 700 and something posts all in about the last week and a half. I've never been a member on this site until a well and a half ago. I have been a reader for about the last 3 years on a consistent basis, but decided recently to join.

Is this is an issue? Do you think I'm someone spying on your sight, or a former member back to haunt everyone?

Exactly, as the saying goes winning fixes everything. We will never see I my orange but if we're winning more you see about half the blue you saw this year.

Excuse me, I don't care where you came from or why you're here. I was simply trying to answer your earlier post, where you asked if and why people were questioning your post count. --especially anyone who has put up 700+ posts in a week and a half. There are terms for that, and you'll probably hear them pretty soon, if you haven't already.
