Coach Poaching

I wouldn't call it poaching. Assistants move on all the time. It's pretty much expexted in the industry to work with as many HC's as possible.

Probably one or two. Hopefully it won't be our best recruiters or guys we have trouble replacing, but it seems like that's usually the case for us.

I could see teams making a run at Thigpen for recruiting, and also Martinez and Azzani. They would likely be lateral moves but could consist of more $

You asking if anybody is getting canned or if somebody is going to come calling asking for Butch's blessing to shoplift the pooty ?
I don't expect either, especially the getting canned point. I was just curious of others opinins. Do we have desirable assist coaches?

Very unlikely. Coaches generally move voluntarily after successful seasons. Other programs aren't exactly clamoring for the assistants from a 4 to 6 win team.

I don't expect either scenario to happen either and at this point and time I don't see anybody courting any of ours except maybe Thigpen.

I think we have a few position coaches that would intrigue some schools especially from the recruiting end.

I go along with the idea that if your staff members are not in demand you need to go find some that are.

Sanders, Sal, and Graham came out smelling like a rose.
