Coach Poaching

Sal's blade may have been a little duller but didn't he have the same knife?

I'd say one was a 3-4 difficult-to-handle butterfly knife, and one is at least a 4-3 hunting knife for UGA and SC and then downgraded to a lock-blade pocket knife. :)

Most coaching staffs are a hodgepodge of guys from around the country with little if any loyalty to the actual school or HC. With the exception of probably some of the GAs and QC staff, none of these guys went to UT, but they've been attending the University of Butch Jones for some time now. I don't see them any leaving for a while, especially not after one season. Bajakian in particular is pretty much attached at the hip to Jones.

I don't figure he will have to add call block to his phone plan..

i hope jancek stays because once his guys are here you will see big improvement from the defense.

Mark Richt says no because Jancek and Martinez had their studs in place at UGA and they were giving up points there just like they are here.

Richt let them go to save his sorry carcass. He is not a good gameday coach and overall coach. It was them or him and he chose the scapegoat. Are they the greatest? No but it was not all their fault and I see this enough. Has he won the SEC since with new coaches? Nope. Play as a team and coach as one also.

he might of fired them to save his butt, but you or nobody else cant deny that their Def was horrible and they were responsible for that Def. Ga did not have any problem scoring so who was he suppose to fire ?

:hi: :good!:
People want to ignore this fact for some reason. It's the same ones that said Dools was a year away now act like they called it all along. These posters insulting other posters as negative are the the ones wrong most often.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

of course they are. I think its funny when they posts, Jancek don't have his players to fit his system but you tell them him and Martinez had the players at Ga that fit their system and the exact same thing happened there. they start reaching for more excuses.
This is the same DC that Dooley ran the score up on. watch what happens now Loco

It's not fair to say he had his players in place at Georgia. He was the (co)defensive coordinator for only one season. The rest of his tenure there was as linebackers coach. If you want a fair assessment, look at the defense he fielded at Cincinnati.

who was the DC ? Martinez and now they are both here. The Def while at Cincy got rolled by Dooley. Set back and watch, this Def will not be any different next year.

I hope I am wrong but don't think so.

I'm not sure there were many teams in the country at that time that wouldn't have gotten rolled by a confident Bray, a healthy Hunter, and a sober Da'Rick. They were on fire that day. Go back and watch that game sometime when you get the chance. It's available in its entirety on YouTube.

I don't expect either, especially the getting canned point. I was just curious of others opinins. Do we have desirable assist coaches?

you are looking on here for other opinions....wow!!!
