Coachery

I don’t think I can ride this ride anymore. DW in small room at complex meeting Steele then other coaches at 3. Discussion of player meeting, but don’t know if it’s tonight or morning. I do not know if Franklin held together, moved to Elliot, or something else. It does seem like there is action, finally.
Is he getting ready to offer the job to Steele perhaps?

Here’s some confirmation on Franklin deal from Callahan, which fell apart. You’ll see it’s consistent with the deal terms etc that I mentioned before. My friend says there barrier was always the investigation unknowns, but I assume they countered too. Don’t know.

“Tennessee offered Franklin pretty big money. His current salary is $5.5 million per year, and it’s safe to say Tennessee’s discussions with him involved a salary at least in the $7 million to $8 million range. We’ve heard more about it possibly being $8 million a year, although I can’t say for certain that that’s accurate.”
Your "source" seems to be wrong a lot.

This. His plan was simple.

1. Mullen
2. Schiano

He drug his feet on Mullen but knew Schiano was a guarantee. Nobody wanted that man besides Currie. When that blew up he had no fallback option no.3
You left out Haslem wanted him too and was the person who brought him to the table.
