Coaches poll released

Side note:

How did TCU still manage to get votes after losing to SMU in a game that wasn't even close. Bob Stoops must have given them a top ten vote

Well. I don't know how it's still happening but Georgia is overrated AGAIN.

I was wrong about saying Virginia Tech is overrated. They are good competition for the ACC.

LSU will still do well in the SEC, Florida's pass offense is the only one anywhere near Arizona State's.

ND is way over-rated, Pitt showed just how bad they were. South Carolina will be lucky to win 3 more games. UT fropped behind LSU last week after the lame opening performance.
As for ND be ranked just look at Jimmy Hyamns vote last week he voted them #6 this week I bet it was #3.

UT can do the same thing to LSU ASU did. Difference is UT does have a run game. ASU passing took what LSU gave them, guess what Clausen does?
As for Florida's pass Offense being the only one as good as ASU's BULL! get your head out.

If UT loses to UF every UT fan can kiss the SEC East GOOD-BYE.

I don't think Clausen will be able to throw it down field like ASU did... Ainge can, but he doesn't have the same level of composure as Sam Keller.

ND isn't overrated. who else they got to beat before we say they are for real. To win In Pitt and In Michigan is a feat that not many teams can do.

Dude... Ohio beat Pitt. FREAKIN' OHIO. To the few of us here who actually do pay a great deal of attention to football all around the country, Ohio is one of the most pitiful teams in all of D-IA year in and year out.

How will we know if Clausen can't throw it downfield if never do it. Open up the O and then we will know

At least we can play LSU and make our case. Unless we win the next 2, it really doesn't matter where we are ranked now anyway.

Agreed. Even I am sometimes overlooking that unless we beat both LSU and Florida, our ranking will not matter. If we go 1-1 or 0-2 over the next two weeks, we should just focus on getting that Sugar Bowl auto-bid.

Ohio's new coach is Frank Solich(sp) who used to coach at Nebraska remember Nebraska fired him for going 9-3!! So Solich can coach give Ohio some credit!

yeah but no one cares about that. Yall say that The coaches are always the ones responsible for winning and losing. who knows just how good Ohio really is. They have a hell of a coach there at their school and he can coach with the best of them. Notre Dame has one of the best offensive minds ever in Charlie and they are going to be a hell of a team this year. They deserve to be in the top 10. Lets just say the first poll came out this week, where do you think notre dame would be?? proably the top 3.

You honestly think UTs coaches are any count, they get booed every home game over something all the time

Thats cause we have idiot fans like someone I know........ :ninja: ........... and they can't just except a win and they are going to get a rude awaking when Fulmer retires and just sees how good he is.

Just goes to show that there are no unbiased polls.

No way should LSU have leap frogged us! And Oklahoma was having a lot of trouble with Tulsa there for a while.

Sad... just sad...

I think most UT fans will one day see just how good we could be with better coaching, especially in the play calling part of the game

I seriously doubt that. the numbers don't lie. I am just sorry that we can't win a national championship every year. The way you complain about coaches is crazy. I will give you a good example of what you are talking about. We had a very good mens basketball coach in Green. We got to greedy and fired him cause we thought we could do better. by the way, can you tell me how good our basketball team is doing right now?

Green got fired cause he couldnt control his players, wow that sounds like our football program

yeah so i guess we should fire the coach, do a coaching carousel for the next 20 years, and be in the bottom pits of the sec? Yeah right.
