ND isn't overrated.  who else they got to beat before we say they are for real.  To win In Pitt and In Michigan is a feat that not many teams can do.

5 seasons of .500 or better since 1980
This is the same team that got drilled by Northwestern the week prior to Pitt 38-14

ND is way over rated. They may be a team between 17 and 23 but not and I repeat not a Top 15 or Top 10 team!

I am definitely a big basketball fan and yeah they most definitely have had there share of problems I would love to see them get back into the mix in the SEC. But theres one thing for sure i here more people gripe about our football coaching than our basketball, i guess most people like football over basketball, Not me

I don't think Clausen will be able to throw it down field like ASU did... Ainge can, but he doesn't have the same level of composure as Sam Keller.

Clausen can get far enough downfield if needs be but I'll take a 12 to 15 play drives with 4 to7 yard passes all night long.

it took some time but I now feel clausen deserves some respect, the kid just delivers ham n eggs. It aint filet mignon ala USC but he just wins. he takes what they give him, does'nt force it, plays smart. And if meachem has a step and a half on a sideline fly pattern next saturday 45 yards downfield....tell me in your heart you dont think rick couldnt throw it in stride in his hands provided he has the time. Now ainge is that special qb who has that it, whatever it is and hes the next 2 seasons of future.....but rick will get it done in the swamp.

Yep, it's game week. Time to start gettin our game faces on. The defense has to step up and rattle Leak and I believe the offense will do its job (whoever is at qb).

If we do that, LSU's defense could easily make the drive sputter out if we have to start from anywhere on our own side of the field.

I think in this game ignoring the long pass game would practically be inviting LSU to take the win. They've got the personel at DL and LB to stop a short-yardage based drive.

Why because a finesse team like ASU can't run on them?

UT's chances agains LSU are better than that, UT will run the ball and UT will use a controlled passing game and 12 to 15 play drives and it only takes about 3 and LSU defense will be out of gas. They were in the 4th against a team they were alot better than last saturday.

I dunno, I still feel like they could easily stop us up front, and that it would be poor coaching to not exploit a weakness. At the least try and pass early to give Riggs room to run. I just have this bad feeling that our offense will be sputtering all night if we try and do run/short pass first and then do longer passes second.

Man I can just feel the love for UGA in here (I know its a UT board). I know some people are calling us overrate again and I can see why but just hear me out. A win is a win is a win. Just like you guys with UAB we played very flat against a USC team that OBC has really coached up and still came out with the win. I know we should have won by more but you guys can't say to much about that great teams find a way to win even when things arent going their way. Im not saying that we are going to win a MNC or even the SEC east, but its to early to start throwing the overrated lable around. Anyway get ready big game this weekend. UF and its so called explosive offense (just because they haven't played anyone yet) and UT has potentially got one of the best D's in the nation. Looks to be a nail biter. Give em hell.

I think at the end of the year, UGA's win over SC is going to be a lot like our win over UAB. They were closer than we wanted, but in the end, they may look pretty good. I think both teams were a little better than everybody thought.

I don't think anybody expected SC's QB play to be this good this fast.
