Folks may disagree but I don't think TCU is the team we need to be watching for that 4th spot. I think Texas gets em next week. The team we need to be wary of is Oregon. They're hot and right on our heels. We'd better be really impressive these next 3 games.

A one loss Oregon (PAC 12 champion) team will leapfrog TN. The same with an undefeated TCU (Big 12 champion).

Agreed. We “should” finish 11-1 and the win over LSU is looking better all the time. We only control the next three games. Everything else will work itself out…and we’re in a good position even still.

Volnation, not trying to be sappy but I enjoy the conversations around TN football. It’s so enjoyable to be relevant and discuss the “what if” scenarios for post season play. It’s been 21 yrs since we’ve been relevant in November. Whatever happens, I’ve enjoyed this season and don’t want it to end!
