Bobby Petrino.

It may be bad there, but by God it's not that bad.

I would quit following and supporting your program not that it would matter, but I'd bet many "true vols" would do the same.

They send money, I wear a t-shirt every now and then.

No sir TRUE VOLS support the team no matter who the coach is...You might not like the coach but it doesn't mean you can't support the TEAM and the school...Besides I promise you We would sell out a hell of a lot more games with him than We would with another Dooley clone...Like him or not He is a WINNER...Those that would stop following UT football, Well we don't want them anyways.

1) Petrino
2) Petrino
3) Petrino
4) Petrino
5) Petrino

What gives? He is a proven winner, and might want to roll the dice that he would stick around. I don't understand the moral majority when it comes to coaching, they are paid to win. I don't care if the next coach roams the sidelines drunk and naked, as long as they win.

Charlie Strong. I think he's the least impressive of the group. Although I don't want Smart or Golden either, and you can count Cutcliffe out after the extension he just signed.

1. Strong
2. Smart
3. Golden

I like the other two.

Just curious why do you think Strong is the least impressive?

Compared to Golden

What's more impressive to you, turning Temple into a good team, or turning Louisville into a good team?

Personally, if we don't get Gruden; I want Franklin.

Cutcliffe parlayed 'interest' into an extension thru 2019. He promised to stay and build DUKE.

Petrinos' sin was simply putting his cupcake on the payroll. AD's could more easily forgive a little dessert on the side but not when the university is paying for it.

I'm hopeful Hart will hire a successful coach from the college ranks that can recruit. He should be under 50 years of age(That will be here for several years). One that can also keep us out of the NCAA doghouse.

Just curious to see everyone's top 5 coaches you wouldn't want leading the Vols next year.
Mine in order are...
1.Smart
2.Franklin
3.Golden
4.Cutcliffe
5.Strong

Petrino
Golden
Smart
Franklin
Cut

Would love Smart if Gruden and Stoops dont pan out but sounds like Gruden is done.

Funny how everyone says no to petrino. If UK hires him and they start kicking our ass every year everyone will be like "why didn't we hire him".

:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol: Yea, lets hire a guy that looks like a meth addict picked at his face sores for weeks! The recruits love it!!!!!!!!:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

Well The fact that Strong is so well respected on the defensive side of the ball. and is an Elite recruiter...

Correct me if im wrong but Golden isnt doing much on the recruiting trail at MU. and never heard of him being a great X's O's kind of guy.

He must have done something right at Temple. And I think a lot of his problems at Miami stem from the fear of them getting the death penalty since they had a booster paying for prostitutes and abortions for their players.
