I couldn't agree more Vercingetorix.

These guys are using blogs now to "throw crap against the wall and see if it sticks". If it does happen to stick, guess who gets to gloat that they "called it first". But if they are dead wrong, as what usually happens, then no harm no foul since hey...it was just on my blog.

I'm no attorney and that changes nothing regarding the limited knowledge on display in the blogs nor does it change that the author is simply a TN outsider, per his own commentary, being a news reporter.

Justin Knows more than most about whats going on at UT. I will use the same example used earlier.
I knew for a fact some information on Butch Davis. I asked Justin about it and he knew exactly the same. Without truly good sources he would not have known what I asked him. He earned my respect.
Also I asked Hat the same question and he knew a little but not as much and said so upfront.
I asked both via PM. I respect both of them for what the know or admit they werent sure of. But Hat did know about Kiff very early.

I suppose you are a TN "insider". Mike has as much right to post on here as anybody. You do not have to read his blogs. Many of us enjoy his contributions.

I personally enjoy Hat's blogs "Half Court Trap" and the post game synopsis. I do not enjoy his blatant attacks on anyone who disagrees with him. He is sometimes wrong (i.e. his assessment of Kevin O'Neil and Billy Gillespie) but never in doubt.

BPV, how is it "spam"? He is giving away what he does for a living. He has not asked me to buy anything. I don't know if KNS even has that pay site anymore or not. i don't always agree with MG but still try to be civil to him.

Yeah I remember reading about that but I thought the bama fans invading Neyland actually caused the firing. I thought the booing cost us the next Peyton Manning. Oh well whats done is done. I just hope Coach Pearl has thicker skin but if I am reading between 32's lines I don't think that is the case.

i've had my battles with hat in the past and probably will have more in the future, however i have full respect for the guy and believe that he is genuinely a good person. he was the first to offer condolences when my father passed and mailed my son a miami hurricane game program after attending a hurricane football game. i remember the people that do things that they don't have to and defend them when possible. he's just a person with high standards in most everything that he's involved with. i don't see anything wrong with that. i will never take a messageboard battle personal. if it were possisble i would buy everyone on here a beer.

it's a hell of a coincidence, but 4 of those 5 beers are my favorites. i've never tried sierra nevada. either you will not actually distribute the beer but enjoy it for yourself, or for some reason i am not invited to a hell of a party in which i supplied the beer.
