Coaching matters. How good is Muschump?

We sucked for 60 years because the demographics of the Sunshine State were completely different in 1953 versus 2013.

Florida wasn't the most populous state in the Southeast 60 years ago, and there was this thing called segregation that sent elite athletes to FAMU and Grambling instead of UF and LSU.

This is the one area you guys are always ever so sensitive about.

Butch is better at X and O, but Floridas defense may stifle our offense is we can't get some big plays. Their D is good. We might can stop their O if A.J. Can cover the middle

WOW, I see no evidence of this yet. When CBJ has a ten win season in the SEC then we can begin to compare. I wear orange glasses, but not at night time.

i find it funny that people pick on him the way they do.

he's the head coach and is responsible for the whole team. so, he's ultimately responsible for the offensive side of the ball too.

however, he's a defensive guy. he handles the defense. the defense is going to be at a championship level as long as he is around.

so, for what he personnally is involved with, he is a superior coach.

The head coach is responsible for everything!!! Including who he hires as OC (Charlie Weiss) that worked out didn't it.

He is also responsible for having his team prepared and ready to play!! What a great coaching job he did against LOUISVILLE!!

Right now, get real he hasn't proven (or disproven) how good a coach he is.

But he does appear to look like a deer in headlights at times. MUSCHUMP!!!

He is 0-6 in the Florida/Georgia game.

One other thing Florida SUCKS!!1

Hate him or not, he's a good coach and the defense is gonna be especially good with him there. UF has the benefit of some great talent too.

So how did you rank the coaching performances sat? Me personally feel we got outcoached. Muschamp kissed his backups a#$ and Butch messed up on two things
1. Started a freshman in the swamp.
2. Tried to open up the offense in the firsthalf when he should have just played small ball and not give uf chances at turnovers.

Or compare both teams at the end of four years when the team is all related to what they have done and not what Dooley or urbie left them with.

Muschamp is a good coach. Good quarterbacks make a difference and he hasn't had one. The defense is legit.

I'll admit, I wanted muschamp back when kiffin left...he's not bad. That being said, you gator fans will turn on him in a heart beat and you know it. Weren't you guys calling for his head after his "average" first year?

We'll turn on any coach who isn't winning.

Our love is conditional, much like any other major college football program's fan base.

Tennessee is no different.

The talent that Florida has would say he is very weak. Their schedule isn't very tough either he should have won ten this year. I think 8 might be where they land.

I'm not sold on him. Besides, he is psycho. And what was that on his face last Saturday - it looked like a big booger.

Gator I agree with much u put out here but he is not just responsible for what he is personally involved with. No one will disagree about his defense. He is in charge of all three phases that is what people are looking at.
