DOJ alleges Michael Cohen "coordinated with one or more members" of the trump campaign to pay off two women who alleged an affair with Trump, and "as a result of the payments" neither woman "spoke to the press prior to the election."
And Trump pretty much has to go under oath in the deposition. The Supreme Court has already ruled that if ordered under deposition a sitting President may be compelled to testify at a deposition in a civil case.
Welp more indictments just came down from DOJ. Republican congressman Duncan Hunter and his wife have been indicted by DOJ for allegedly using $250,000 in campaign money for their own personal expenses, including trips to Italy and Hawaii, and dental work. He is the second Republican Congressman brought up on criminal charges.
