If I have to give him a break like that, he has no business on the field.
If we had been playing a good team, he would have given our opponent two scores.
You are cutting him slack that you would not give to any other player on the team.
You are buying into his feel good narrative.

Sorry, but he is the starting punter on a good football team.
He acted like he had never seen American football or was aware of the basics of punting until the 2nd half. You can't tell me he hadn't gone over his duties, expectations, and the rules hundreds of times.

When I see him have a decent game, I will stop worrying about it. Austin Peay will give him a solid opportunity to redeem himself in a lower stakes situation. Until then, he is a red flag, and the biggest on the team.
Don't get me wrong I'm not a fan of Aussie kickers I'm Just saying was his first game, let's see what happens before we right him off.

APSU is the perfect opportunity for him to show us it was a fluke. Low pressure and friendly crowd.
I would prefer he use his best leg for kicking.
I see plenty of potential for his leg switching and "strong arm", but I just want to see consistent, good punts.
