Colin Cowherd

Used to like Cowherd until he started sharing his social/political views way too much IMO. Also, uses way too much hyperbole in his views.... like a national Clay Travis. Listen to him very little anymore.

If we don't win, this score would be acceptable. The last thing we need this weekend is a blowout.

Oh, I don't know. I would be more than happy to see UT blowout SCar. :wink2:

I like listening to Cowherd but he is out of touch with the SEC. He said Tennessee would lose to Georgia big because we were missing DevRON Young. He is going off of staff notes.
With that said, I give South Carolina a maximum of 24 points. We break 40.

In regards to the game, UT is going to have to catch USC flatfooted and create some turnovers early. They are a good team, but are one that can be beaten.

Herby had South Carolina on his upset alerts list for the weekend. He said he wasn't calling upsets, but the games could be closer than you think.

He also had Akron beating the Gators in week one...I think Herb is smoking glue...SC by 7-10 pts. Were getting there though! GBO!

it will come down to inches again like the Georgia game. a win would be absolutely huge for Tennessee.

It would not be huge, it would be a very small step in the right direction (finally). Huge would be going into Tuscaloosa and beating Bama.

I like listening to cowherd because he doesn't care what everybody else is saying. He doesn't go with the crowd on any topic unless he actually agrees with the crowd that time. But he always has his own opinions and really has an interesting twist on things that really make you think

This, i like Cowherd even though i disagree with him on a lot of things. I listen to him every day.

The team with the better QB will win, and right now the Gamecocks have a better QB.

I agree. I'm a huge fan of Cowherd. He isn't bias and he doesn't care what people think about him. I'll never forget last year he was on ESPN radio talking to all these Knicks fans on how they messed up trading all there guys for Melo. People were calling in so mad because Melo was having a career year, but facts are Melo isn't going to be able to lead NY by himself over a team like the Heat. He just calls it like he sees it. I think he's one of the few guys on ESPN that isn't afraid to say what he feels is right.

I haven't sat down and read a book since probably Green Eggs and Ham, but i want to read his new book "You Heard Me, I'll Say It If No One Else Will".

I'm not a talking head TV pundit wearing a $1k suit, I'm picking the Vols 28-17 cause we're gonna play some serious D.

I've had a good feeling about this game all week long so I will agree with you that we win. My score would be more like 31-24.

I like his opinions also. He isn't another typical sports personality. I agree on most of what he says (sports related only).

I miss Colin and espn radio, our local station changed to CBS sports and it sucks

Same here. I can't stand Jim Rome. It's not his opinions, it's just his delivery is not entertaining at all.

Occasionally when I feel like taking the extra step, I use I Heart Radio to get Cowherd in a station out of Cincinnati. Mostly I just listen to music instead now.

Not trying to be a smarta$$....but it amazes me that so many fans get excited about positive "opinions" or "predictions" by the so called "experts". None of which follow our program as close as most of us do. Yet somehow they feel that these guys know more about our team's ability, strengths, and probabilities than we do. I just find this comical.

Well, not to be a smartbutt either, but I mean they are popular experts that make a ton of money for a reason...

P.s. I despise Rome as well (to the other poster). He thinks he's cool and funny. He also pauses after every awesome sentence he says. He also talks too much about baseball.
