I agree. I'm a huge fan of Cowherd. He isn't bias and he doesn't care what people think about him. I'll never forget last year he was on ESPN radio talking to all these Knicks fans on how they messed up trading all there guys for Melo. People were calling in so mad because Melo was having a career year, but facts are Melo isn't going to be able to lead NY by himself over a team like the Heat. He just calls it like he sees it. I think he's one of the few guys on ESPN that isn't afraid to say what he feels is right.

Yep. I remember that. I don't get to listen all the time. I just flip it to ESPN radio whenever I'm driving somewhere. I listened to him driving to school last semester every day.

I met him at the airport in Atlanta in 2010. I was returning from Iraq and he was catching a flight to Philly.
I talked to him a minute or so before he had to board his plane.

Anybody who's watched Sportsnation knows that Cowherd is wrong more than he's right. He might have just been distracted by looking at Michelle Beadle.

I like his opinions also. He isn't another typical sports personality. I agree on most of what he says (sports related only).

i like his show too. he usually has interesting analogies and well thought out points - only i usually find what he is saying about sports less interesting than the subject his analogies

He's honest and doesn't sugar coat things.

I like that he admits when he is wrong. His love of Kiffin was a perfect example. He was on the Lane train at TN and thought he would be great at USC due to recruiting prowess. He was quick to admit that his coaching ability did not translate to Gameday.

Cowherd was also complimentary of UT although he picked Georgia a few weeks back.

I find it interesting because I remember him talking about Dooley and he said there was no way he was going to succeed. It seems to me he has a different set of expectations for CBJ.

Everybody has a different set of expectations for CBJ! He's no different.
