College Baseball - Transfer Portal Tracker

Can’t remember what @preacherman20 said about Sewell. As I recall, he was non committal about his plans. Streenstra though, I recall, he said he was focused on moving on…

Thursday. But he did say not confirmed. And as mentioned above, things can change. Would love to have Cam for another year.

It's interesting that McKee tweeted on draft day that Sewell's plans were already set but not ready to be shared. It has been a while now, which is curious.

Wish Hujsak the best of luck. Depth is nice and we could have used this young man. But cutting to the chase and that's what Hujsak did, he probably wasn't going to beat Maui Ahuna out at the SS position. Hujsak hit 239 as a freshman at VCU last year.

Also, Logan Chambers is currently hitting 364 after 24 games in the New England League and Chambers and Christan Moore will more than likely be battling for the position at 2nd base.
Christian is struggling some at the plate this summer, currently hitting below the Mendoza line. However, he was a force last year as our RH DH. Expect him to return to form as soon as he gets back to Knoxville.

Also, Mississippi State had signed a pitcher from VCU -out of the portal- earlier and had to be considered the favorite.

Christian can hit. And he's clutch. We saw that last year. I doubt there's anything to be worried about, like you. Looking forward to seeing him every day in our lineup.

Griffin Merritt would be a bigger pickup.

Pressure is cranking up on that staff, for sure. You can bet the alums that ponied up for the NLIs, expect success.
The pressure from their boosters, fans, the media, etc will be enormous. Those folks love their baseball and truly believe national championships are their birthright. We will see how the season plays out, but regardless, it’s going to be interesting to see how their season unfolds.

Big NIL deal for Skenes,, My LSU buddies are happy Tony Vols stayed in Knoxville. Tony Vols reputation right now, NOT good around college baseball. Just what I have been hearing !!!! LSU is spending big time money on NIL ,,

LOL, TV should get into real estate considering he lives rent-free in the heads of so many fanbases.

It’s going to be real interesting if LSU’s team doesn’t live up to expectations this coming season. Boosters are going to be looking for ROI for those big checks to the collective.

OK then. *shrugs*

Big time spending on NIL comes with enormous expectations. Anything less than a national title for LSU baseball will be considered a failure by their fanbase and donors.
