Hosting Game Day should be the least of our worries, we will be underdogs in all of our remaining games except NIU and Wyoming

fussing about gameday? Come on, they never come here anymore, ever. Even when we're good and ranked and playing another good ranked team at home they still dont come. Look at in 06, #17 UT vs #7 UF, they chose to watch So Cal play someone else, and even later when we were back in the top 10, #13 LSU v #8 UT, they still chose to go somewhere else, like either wake forest or a&m

I mean, still props to vandy for finally getting gameday there for once, but gameday just doesnt go to UT anymore simply b/c they dont want to. They'll go to an away game UT is at, but the won't come here b/c they dont like coming up to knoxville, i think it relates to some incident or something.

so this shouldnt be so much of a "woe is us" b/c even if we were doing well, gameday crew wouldnt come here. Props to vandy and all, but gameday just doesnt come to UT

I'm just glad it isn't us playing them in Nashville with gameday there, the thought of Corso donning the Commodore mascot headwear :cray:

My brother is a Vandy fan......he has been giving me crap for 3 weeks now......but I do say Go Vandy!........I will never live this down.......:banghead2:

Vandy, this year, has or has had a better baseball team, a better football team and dethroned UT from #1 in basketball with most of the state supporting them. That might be the beginning of a trend. As nice as it would be to support a winning college football team in Tennessee, they are an in-state rival in the SEC East. I'll be for AU. Go Titans!

I could be wrong, but I think I saw Corso jogging down Church Street just a few minutes ago. If not, it was a strong resemblance. Man appears to like his Under Armour.
