College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Huh? A 4 seed is virtually a lock? Think you mean 3 seed.

Nothing gets by you. I answered the question as asked.

Guess I should have said “4 seed or better, but most likely better” to make my full understanding of the situation more clear so I don’t get hit up by the pedantic polic again lol

Are we a 4 seed if we go 1 and done?

I agree with 4 or better being locked, took the post to mean a 4 seed itself was locked up.

I don’t think we have a chance at a two seed unless we beat auburn and Florida on the way to being champions

It’s possible we fall to 4, but would probably take both Clemson and Texas Tech/WVU winning their conference tournaments

A 3 seed in the south region is the best draw. I’d rather have that than a 2 seed in the Midwest or west region.

I don’t know... I’d love to be a 2 seed in the same region as Xavier. Even in LA

We’ve never had much bball luck in Atlanta

Thought people saying we wanted Michigan to win was crazy. Now we are behind them and State if we don't win the SEC-T

I think people are worrying too much about Michigan. Their OOC RPI is 72, and OOC SOS is 263.

TNs, by comparison, is 14 and 23. The committee has consistently rewarded teams that have gone out and played tough ooc games.

Big 10 played the 24th rated most difficult OOC schedule as a league, while the SEC played the most the difficult. It’s the reason MSU, with only 3 losses at the time, was nowhere near the top seed line during the committee reveal, and why a team like Nebraska with 13 conference wins is projected OUT of the tournament.

LMU moves to 30 and 1 with the SAC tourney championship over a tough Queens squad. Dorian Pinson went into absolute beast mode to win this one. Coach Schertz has a huge pair by not playing Terry or Shaw in the second much at all. Not getting what he wanted from them he went to a smaller lineup. Barnburner of a game.

"On a night where the Railsplitters' other two All-SAC first team selections – Trevon Shaw (0 points, 0-for-3 FGs) and Emanuel Terry (8 points) - didn't have their best stuff, Pinson was transcendent. The 6-5 senior scored a career-high 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting to go along with eight rebounds, six steals, five assists and two blocks to will the Railsplitters to victory."

LMU is assured of hosting the D2 Southeast regional NCAA Tourney. I'm camping out at Tex Turner and watching bb til I puke.

Lincoln Memorial University- SAC CHAMPIONS! No. 1 Railsplitters outlast No. 5 Queens for fourth SAC tournament crown

C'mon. Admit it.
8. EAST TENNESSEE STATE

Head coach Steve Forbes has done a solid job of building this program into a consistent winner as the Buccaneers sit at 10-4. A recent 19-point road win at Mercer was a really impressive mid-major win and East Tennessee State also put a serious scare into Xavier on the road before losing by two. Armed with a top-50 defense, if the Buccaneers can improve their dreadful 32 percent three-point shooting then they could compete with anyone.

And they are headed to the NIT at best.

He hasn't been on since August or sometime. Love how he tucked tail and ran.

Never mind. He snuck on here last month. Carry on.

Yeah he jumped on about a month and a half ago to tout ETSU being "#5 in the mid-major poll".

My guess is the only way he might return is if Auburn and/or Missouri go further in the NCAAT than we do, he'll point it out. If that doesn't happen, he might show up to tout Fat Boy in Canada if they win another G-Leauge championship and we'll all laugh at him again.
