I thought so, too. My guess is that since he wasn't driving, they had no grounds to test his blood alcohol level, so unless he was exhibiting signs of severe intoxication or in possession of an open container, there was no proof of comsumption.

It’s possible that they cut him a break if he was smashed. I wonder where they were and if the cops are Duke fans or Duke haters. The grandson’s name is Savarino instead of Krzyzewski so the police possibly didn’t know who they were dealing with either.

I don’t know NC law but I think in TN if you blow even a .02 it’s a DUI if you’re under 21

I believe they rebranded their sports teams as "Kansas City". Before they were just UMKC or Missouri Kansas City
