Duke, Gonzaga, and Purdue look like they’re playing a different sport than the rest of the teams. Their players all look built like NBA players. Big, physical, and quick. I know I’ve said it before but it’s hard to imagine one of those three teams NOT winning it all.
Don’t sell Baylor short. They’re still very good.Duke, Gonzaga, and Purdue look like they’re playing a different sport than the rest of the teams. Their players all look built like NBA players. I think it’s probably more premature to get down on them for having a close game after a hard fought emotional lossGonzaga almost lost to Tarleton State tonight. They were favored by 32 and it was a 2-point game with less than 5-minutes to go. Maybe all the pundits crowning them after the UCLA game were a bit premature like always?

Literally all they did last year was shoot threes. Same this year. I believe they have attempted at least 27 threes in 5 out of their 7 games. 4 of those games they got up over 30 attempts and I think they even had a game where they attempted 40.I noticed Alabama doesn’t usually take a lot of threes.
They like to use their speed to get to the rim.
This is where I like Chandler and ZZ on the floor at the same time.
So Duke didn't just lose, they collapsed really badly? For those that missed the game, Duke was up 11 with under 7 to play (62-51), and then got outscored 20-4 to close the game. Really remarkable collapse by a Coach K-led team with that much talent. Granted, tOSU is no slouch, and had the homecourt advantage, which Duke is not used to dealing with before January, most years, as they almost never play a true road game out of conference. Being that this was part of the Big10/ACC Challenge, they didn't have a choice in the matter.
Duke scored their last point of the game on a FT with 4:29 to play, giving them a 7-point lead. tOSU would close on a 12-0 run to put complete the comeback and put them away.
