That "Portal" has transformed college sports. The Vols really have benefitted in both FB, BB and LVBB. I wonder if Vitello has noticed and will take advantage?

He has. He got pitchers Chase Dollander and Seth Halvorsen. Dollander was a First Team All-Freshmen at Georgia Southern and UT played against him last year. I saw him pitch one inning in an exhibition a month ago, and he was impressive. Halvorsen throws hard and has one year left coming from Mizzou.

He had a transfer catcher from WV, but he gave up the game.

Dude.....overconfidence and saying we will beat down a terrible Georgia team and Penny-coached Memphis team are two completely different conversations. We will lose 7-8 games this year IMO.

No, he’s just not ready for high level basketball. Kid drives only to the right and shoots fadeaways. Outside of that, he does nothing special at the college level…yet. He can still be a good player, but not until he learns how to play for something other than Instagram highlights.

I only saw the last 5-6 minutes. The interesting thing is that it appeared to me that they weren’t good defensively, which has kept them in games. They were committing a ridiculous amount of turnovers and only had 11 against UGA.
