College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

I flipped over to the SEC Network just to see who was playing. Not surprised to see that Little Pippen was at the free throw line. Or that Vandy was on the losing end of a 20 point beat down.

Wish Kentucky would win this one, but it’s seeming like a long shot right now.

Auburn might have the conference won by the 2nd week of February. I’m not seeing them lose more than 2 games. Just such a stacked lineup. Well-rounded and very consistent night in and night out. Probably the best team in the country.

You’re absolutely correct. Unfortunately, come noon Monday, Auburn is the clear #1 team in America.

Also, their schedule is pretty easy from here on out

Wow. Just checked their schedule. It’s a joke. The rest of the way they play 2 “top 6” teams in the conference. Us and Alabama. It’s mostly bottom feeders like Georgia, Missouri, South Carolina, and Vandy. Yeah, I’m calling one loss is what they finish with.

As a longtime Spurs fan, Jabari reminds me a bit of Timmy, minus the bank shot. Very fundamentally sound and can do it all.

Also, the chatter when Kessler transferred was that he wanted to play outside more and shoot 3s, but doesn’t seem to be the case.

Arkansas beats TAMU in OT. Four straight for the hogs. They’re starting to hit their stride. Those are not going to be easy games. Wish we could have played them a bit earlier.

They did win at LSU, which is a great win. But their other 3 weren’t all that special. A&M is going to come back down to earth.

Arkansas’ schedule at the end is brutal. 7 of the last 8. Not sure they win 10 conference games.

A&M isn’t going to come back to Earth. They’ve hit the difficult part of their schedule, and competed every game. If not for 9 turnovers from their pg, they win.

Sure…coming from the A&M guy. They still have LSU twice, Auburn, UT, UF, Alabama, and MSU left…still no Q1 wins.
