College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

He hit a streak of bad luck losing the SEC preseason POY last year and this one too then loses his center. Hard to win In this league without your best players available

That’s true, but he also hasn’t recruited well enough. All of his contributors on this team are almost exclusively transfers. Top 6 scorers and 7 out of 8. It’s hard to get a team like that to gel, and several are midmajor transfers, who can have a hard time adjusting.

He took Quez Glover, Samson Ruhzentsev, and Jason Jitoboh within 2 years, and none were really good enough. Omar Payne didn’t work out either. Reeves is a freshman 5 star but 7th in scoring. Looks like he isn’t getting the high level 5 stars that he did when he started at UF.

Good gosh. I thought the Kansas player tacklers the tech player and then Tech player was inside the circle. One thing I notice is Kansas has players who are able to drive to the hoop, athletic.

Wow, was that goal tending? But play for Tech - 5 point game and the play can be reviewed. I don’t think it is goaltending.

Wow! Tech had the game won but poor shot selection, bricked the first foul shot and the the three ball by Kansas. Tech controlled the entire overtime period.

I think Kansas prevails and will get ahead during 2nd OT.

Well, Tech had the game in regulation and OT but Kansas prevailed in double OT. Tech is a good ball club. We had them best ourselves but the putrid shooting hurt us.

Not sure we really want TTU to win these games, because they are a loss for us, and are not going to fall outside of a Q1 game. Instead we're going to be competing vs them on the seed line. Would prefer to move ahead of them.

Yes, good point. I’m not sure what their remaining schedule is, but pretty tough I suppose.

Bingo, same with Villanova/Arizona/LSU/UK.
