College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

TAMU getting blown out at home to LSU for their 7th straight loss. They have to travel to Auburn this weekend.

Auburn is Proving they are a good team but look how Frail they are crowd noise seams to have them shook they are most definitely not a automatic L on the schedule for us in a few weeks
Auburn has had some luck this season but Arkansas has been playing like one of the best teams in the country after that rough patch in the middle of the season. They started out 9-0, then lost 5 out of 6, and now have won their past 8 games. This is the Arkansas team everyone was predicting to contend for the SEC Championship. This is one team that I would not want to see in our region in the NCAAT.

I think there are three SEC teams that are strong contenders to make it to the final four. Arkansas is a very good team.

Some selfish, me-first basketball down the stretch by Auburn. It’s like Wendell Green refuses to let anyone else be the hero. Stuff like that is what will get you beat in the games that matter in March.

No idea what Pearl was thinking not calling a timeout there.

Am I correct in remembering that he almost never calls a timeout in those situations? I think thats a belief of his

Yes. He loves to watch teams play through it. I don’t think it would’ve changed the outcome, but watching the runs Michigan put on us in the tournament while he refused to call timeout was agonizing.
