College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Yea for conference champ won’t matter, but competing for a 1 seed that one definitely could be important.
So I know that UCONN losing last night helped us for getting a 1 seed, but so at this point in the season do we want Arizona and Kansas and Texas to lose or do you want them to win since we played them? I'm assuming start to lose now right?

Obviously, we want the likes of Houston, Purdue, Alabama, UCLA, and Gonzaga to lose

If we’re trying to secure a 2 or 3 seed then we’ll want AZ, KU, and ut to win. But if we’re working on a #1 seed then we need those potentially ahead of or ranked close to us to lose and drop out of our way.

If we are able to pull off 14 or 15 conference wins plus a win over Texas and a game or 2 in the SECT, then I want EVERYBODY else piling up loses.

You want Arizona and Kansas to lose now, largely since they're generally ahead of Tennessee on the S-Curve. As long as they don't fully implode, they're still unquestionably quality opponents. It'd be best for Texas to continue winning (last night's comeback was good) until Tennessee beats them.

Lose, but don’t need them to lose out…dropping 3-4 games each would be ideal.

Gonzaga has only won there last 3 games by a grand total of 8 points to the likes of San Francisco, Santa Clara, and BYU.

It would be nice if they could drop one soon. Don’t want to be fighting them for a one seed

We should be fine. As long as Saban, Butch, and Schiano aren’t voters.

Even winning out they are gonna have a hard time getting to a 1 seed, 2/3 is much more likely.

That’s what I figured with them dropping 3 non conference games since they don’t have many more good resume building games left on there schedule. But the committee usually likes Gonzaga it seems
