I'm not going to argue with you about changing his mind because I agree.Gotcha, I just take that to mean he wouldn’t move Kansas or Arizona above us, not anything about a bad L. In any regard, Lunardi changes his mind like the wind and isn’t all that wzsirate, just has a nice platform.
Like I said I take it to mean immediate, meaning form #1 regardless of what Kansas or Arizona do tonight…where as right now it’s a toss up with those 3 teams for the last #1 seed.I'm not going to argue with you about changing his mind because I agree.
I would just personally not use the word solidify unless it meant what I said in my original post hence my interpretation.
You just said 2 SEC teams won’t get a 1
They’re 18-2, a case could be made that even if we beat them they could be ahead of us, them dropping 1 or 2 is not remotely a bad thing at all. Committee isn’t gonna look at us beating #2 any different than us beating #9.Probably not. What I'm saying is we have to beat them anyway. Isn't it better to beat a team ranked near the top than one that say came in ranked 9th? I don't know if we need them to lose or not. It's just my gut feeling or may my competitive nature wanting us to be the one that takes them down.
