College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

What’s ridiculous is their administration and sorry a$$ for a coach is shrugging this situation off and two players that were involved in a murder plot are still dribbling a basketball.

Of course people are going to be pissed off.
Have you ever known an Alabama Coach not shrug off a situation. This is typical behavior for the program in all athletics. We are great and untouchable attitude. What a mess

RIP to former Virginia coach Terry Holland.

I believe he coached against Tennessee and that Barnes coached against him when Barnes was at Clemson.

He finished before Barnes was at Clemson. Barnes was at Providence during Holland’s last couple years at UVA.

As of today, these are the eight schools most likely to reach the Elite Eight, along with their probability to get thar far.

  • Houston - 74.6%
  • Tennessee - 60.7%
  • Alabama - 60.6%
  • UCLA - 48.9%
  • UConn - 38.9%
  • Purdue - 36.5%
  • Texas - 36.4%
  • Kansas - 33.4%
Keep in mind, these odds will be changing almost daily. They will especially shift once the bracket is revealed and we can see which teams are in which particular regions.

I don't ever remember caring less about the SEC tourney than this one. After winning it last year and not getting a seed bump, I don't see how we have anything to gain.

This is me. Of course I say that and if we find ourselves playing on Sunday I'll be right there screaming at the TV probably.

Wednesday's Games of Note:

#19 Xavier at #20 Providence
Auburn at #2 Alabama
Vandy at #23 Kentucky
#9 Texas at #22 TCU
Mizzou at LSU

Would be nice if Mizzou, Auburn, and Vandy all lost tonight so it would pretty much lock up the 4 seed for us tonight

I’d almost prefer Auburn to win. I don’t want any part of their desperation on senior day on the Plains, and would prefer to catch them still basking in the glow of a win vs Bama.

On the other hand, if they win tonight then the game Saturday will possibly be for a double bye in the SECT. It will at least put them ahead of TN. No matter what, Auburn will have a lot on the line. That gym will be crazy. If TN expects to win they better hit them in the mouth early and keep the crowd quiet.

Disagree, I wanna bury 'em after Bama runs 'em. I want Plavsic to do the shovel and throw the dirt (mine it, of course) on Auburn's logo after the game.

Caleb Grill just booted off of Iowa State’s team. Violation of team rules. 3rd leading scorer. A senior guard.

Whichever high seeds that are paired with the ‘clones will have an easy draw. My guess is that Duke will be gifted the matchup in the 2nd or 3rd round.
