College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Why would LSU’s coach play into that style of play which is what bama wants. LSU was running and gunning also. Not typically a good strategy IMO.

It worked for them in the first half, but it just wasn’t sustainable for 40 minutes. LSU has made big strides this year and looks much better in Year 2, but they don’t play near enough defense to run and gun like that and win. Odd choice indeed.

I know Barnes has a lot of respect for Cal and they are friends, but man he is such a whiner. Yes, Cal, you are the only team in the country that opposing players play well against….

I think this attitude is just pervasive with Kentucky basketball fans in general. If you take even a quick glance at their boards, the whole "we're everybody's Super Bowl" theme shows up constantly. They're absolutely the big dog (in spite of many recent failures), but I can't help but wonder what we're supposed to take from that. When other teams really try, they often lose despite having superior talent? How is that supposed to make their fans feel better?

This is why I delight in any misery Kentucky fans experience. The SEC basketball world hasn't revolved around their team nearly as much of late, so they're extra snotty to make up for it.

i said it at the beginning of the season, if it’s not TN winning it all i truly believe UConn is going back to back.

Watching FAU play North Texas.

FAU doesn't seem to be the same team as last year, even though the core returned..

Still a tournament team though.

I love what Penny is doing in Memphis. 😂😂😂
Just saw some quotes from One Cent’s post game press conference:
- It’s on the players. The staff has done their job.
- When asked what they’ll work on in practice: “It’s up to the players to fix it.”

If I was their AD, I’d fire him tonight for making such a stupid statement. Never heard a coach say that. Unbelievable.

The city of Memphis bends over backwards for Penny. It’ll be another Larry Finch type departure when that time comes.

But like you said. Penny has zero accountability. He’s like Shane Beamer in that same regard.

They don’t have the courage to fire the favorite son. Penny will have to get tired of all the flak and resign but I’m betting he won’t do it. Too much ego. The lack of accountability is what is so alarming.

Wow! He is what we all thought he was. He never fails to prove it.

The Arkansas nose picker is blaming his players also - 1 cent has company.
