Honestly, now that Kentucky has dug a hole in the SEC standings, it would help us if they found a bit of a groove these next few weeks. Would make our win there look better AND we could use their help beating some of the other top teams in the conference.

Browsed Rupps Rafters last night after the game. They seem pretty unanimous in their desire to hire Oats after Cal leaves

Their fans are dumb. Oats would not be Cal’s replacement. Cal will be there until he doesn’t want to be but I’ve seen where the AD or someone higher up is close with Scott Drew. That would be a better replacement IMO.

Watching Purdue-Wisconsin. Purdue is the better team, but just an observation that has been the case all this season: Purdue is the most protected team in college basketball. The whistle favors them every team they step foot on the court.

It’s not even just Edey. That entire team is protected by the refs.

We will most likely hire a mid major. We are not a job that can draw an established P5 coach.

I think Barnes will stay long enough to break Mears’s school win record as long as his health lets him. He’s on pace to do that within 4 years.

I’m not sure they’ll run off Woodson after just three seasons. Woodson’s job performance in his first two seasons seemed to have been pretty well received by the IU fans. He’s a Hoosier too. Hard to cut ties with one of your own that quickly.

Not only is he a Hoosier, he’s a Bob Knight guy. That will buy him a couple of additional years. He’ll retire in the next 2-3 years and they will certainly come after Dusty unless he fades into oblivion by then.
