College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

Gahhh...Rick Pitino just ripped his team apart in his postgame press conference. Not sure how he could retain any of them after that rip job, not that it sounds like he wants to. Chris Ledlum got a specific shout out for his poor play and lack of toughness. Just brutal.

Yikes

Edey is just a big dude who clogs the lane.

You won’t hear anything from him again after college.

I don’t like him and think he’s a little full of himself, but there a place in the NBA for Edey. Time will tell if he is a starting caliber center at that level, but a guy that big and strong who moves well and has a nose for the ball is going to carve out a role in the NBA, even if it is just as a guy who comes off the bench.

Every time I watch UVa this year they are horrendous. How do they have 20 wins?
They're the equivalent of football team playing the option. When it works, it works no matter how ugly the game is. When they're behind 10 or more early the game might as well be over. I don't know know how they went on a 8 game winning streak.

The Chris Ledlum that Pitino called "slow laterally" is the guy who signed with us as a transfer from Harvard and then left
after about a week or so of workouts. Didn't realize he'd landed at St. John's.

The great Connecticut Huskies play a pretty good Creighton team.

It is Creighton so the thundering crowd could be a great advantage if Creighton can play great which includes less turnovers, and executing critical baskets if they succeed keeping the game close.

That’s how Creighton could upset a great Connecticut team.

A depressing night for the VCU Rams because the Massachusetts Minutemen are bulldozing the Rams by 18.
I don’t see the Rams getting a miraculous comeback.
