College Hoops Around The Country [TN opponents, RPI, others]

On the other hand, you could make a case that Louisville is the 2nd best team in the ACC right now. That win looks better by the day for us.
Yes it does. They look like a totally different team. And they lost their leading scorer to a season ending injury in late November.

Quick check reveals, at this time, 9 ranked opponents on the Vols regular season schedule, including back to back games in some cases.
Gonna be a challenge, but will definitely help come tournament time.
Praying the guys stay healthy 🙏

If losing at Florida dropped us off the 1 line, surely losing at home to OM drops Bama too
Still a ton of season left to play. There will be constant fluctuations game by game until we get to the NCAA selection committee’s top 16 seed reveal a couple weeks before the regular season ends. The seeds seem to hold pretty steady after that, even if a team drops a couple and/or loses early in their conference tournament.

They should drop.

But their game has at least been competitive. Not a 30 point beat down
I’m just not a believer that a 30 point loss is more than one loss. Big losses happen to good teams over a 40 game season. Alabama made the FF last year and had 18+ point losses to us, Auburn, Florida, and Kentucky.

Wow. Mizzou is COOKING Florida. 30 points in just 9 minutes….
Surprisingly living by other teams missing threes causes you to die by other teams making threes. If Lanier was on, our game looks like this.

Florida gives up constant open threes so I kinda think they’ll get cooked. Should have tightened up the rims

Fiddy to 34. Tigers on the road backing over the Gators.🐊
With Bama going down at home and if Flordia loses this one at home, we are in great position to move back in the top 5. Definitely not safe at home in the SEC this year.
We need to take care of business and hold serve at home against Georgia.
